The self® 5000/50 is an unsupported transfer tape designed for professional lamination applications that require thin, uniform and effective bonding on low-porosity materials. Thanks to its modified acrylic adhesive, it provides reliable adhesion in industrial processes where only the adhesive mass needs to be applied, without an additional carrier.
With a 0.050 mm thickness and an adhesive strength of 24 N/25 mm, self® 5000/50 is especially suitable for bonding plastic surfaces and for applications on low-porosity materials, such as closed-cell polyethylene foams. Its transfer construction enables a thin, adaptable adhesive layer suitable for converting and assembly processes.
Its temperature resistance from -30 ºC to +100 ºC allows use in different professional processes. Available in widths from 1000 mm to 2000 mm, self® 5000/50 is a suitable solution for the lamination of foams, felts and fabrics, where good adhesion, uniform application and a flexible finish are required.
