The self® 3009 is a double-sided polyethylene foam tape designed for applications that require clean, reliable and versatile bonding. Thanks to its acrylic adhesive, it provides good adhesion on different materials, making it especially suitable for assembly work in construction, decoration, white goods, POS displays, paper, cardboard and graphic arts.
With a 0.90 mm thickness, white colour and an adhesive strength of 10 N/25 mm on the inner side and 16 N/25 mm on the outer side, self® 3009 enables stable bonding in applications such as the adhesion of mirrors, glass, metals and POS display elements. Its polyethylene foam carrier, with a density of 83 kg/m³, helps compensate for minor surface irregularities and supports uniform assembly.
It also features a permanent outer side and a removable inner side, making it a practical solution for applications where stable bonding must be combined with removability on one side. Its temperature resistance from -30 ºC to +100 ºC and its availability in widths from 6 mm to 1500 mm allow it to be adapted to multiple manufacturing, installation and assembly processes.
