The self® 1730 is a single-sided adhesive tape with a polyethylene foam carrier designed for professional thermal insulation applications in the construction sector. Thanks to its modified acrylic adhesive, it provides effective fixing in jobs requiring a stable, adaptable and easy-to-install self-adhesive foam.
With a 3.00 mm thickness and an adhesive strength of 12 N/25 mm, self® 1730 is especially suitable as a self-adhesive foam sealing strip. Its structure with rectangular polyester mesh helps prevent stretching, allowing more controlled installation in construction and decoration applications. The foams are also available without mesh.
Its temperature resistance from -30 ºC to +60 ºC allows use in different working environments. Available in widths from 9 mm to 1500 mm and in white and anthracite grey, self® 1730 is a practical solution for thermal insulation applications, especially when a medium-thickness, stable and adaptable self-adhesive foam is required.
