self® 2209

The self® 2209 is a double-sided tape with a non-woven carrier designed for applications that require a combination of permanent bonding and controlled removability. Its construction combines an inner side with acrylic adhesive and an outer side with modified acrylic adhesive, offering a technical solution for assemblies where one side must allow removal while the other maintains a stable bond.

With a 0.100 mm thickness and an adhesive strength of 2 N/25 mm on the inner side and 25 N/25 mm on the outer side, self® 2209 is especially suitable for the adhesion of protective materials in packaging and in the glass industry. Its non-woven carrier provides flexibility and supports clean, efficient application in assembly, lamination and handling processes.

Its temperature resistance from -30 ºC to +100 ºC makes it suitable for different professional environments. Available in widths from 6 mm to 1000 mm, self® 2209 is a suitable solution for construction, decoration, white goods, general-purpose use and lamination of foams, felts and fabrics, especially when a double-sided tape with a permanent outer side and removable inner side is required.
