The new SELF® C1289 has been developed to meet the technical demands of the construction and professional installation sectors. It is a single-sided, high-adhesion adhesive tape specially designed for sealing and bonding breathable membranes, as well as for applications requiring durable fixation, environmental resistance, and a clean aesthetic finish.
Manufactured with a technical black non-woven polypropylene backing, SELF® C1289 can be plastered over after installation, allowing perfect integration into construction systems where visual appearance is essential. Thanks to its modified acrylic high-tack adhesive, it provides excellent adhesion even on irregular surfaces and complex materials, ensuring a secure and long-lasting seal.
In addition to its strong adhesive performance, this tape stands out for its resistance to moisture, UV exposure, and demanding weather conditions, withstanding temperatures from -30 °C to +80 °C. Its waterproof structure makes it an ideal solution for exterior applications and high-efficiency building envelope systems, including Passive House constructions and timber frame buildings.
SELF® C1289 has also been designed to simplify on-site installation. It can be supplied with fully customizable printed logos, reinforcing each customer’s brand identity, and with a pre-cut liner that improves handling and facilitates installation, especially on corners and angle joints.
